I LOVED this book! Even though some of the poems were a bit lacking, the emotion and the plot made up for it. Xiomara's story is one that many can relate to, especially those who feel like they don't fit in or feel like they can't find an escape. Poetry helped me get through many dark times in my life, so I really related to Xiomara and her need to just write. Check this book out!
