Girls of Paper and Fire by Natasha Ngan
My rating: 4 of 5 starsI absolutely love that this book turned a special yet ordinary girl into an empowered woman. The abuse and problematic behavior in this book is written in a way that does not condone the abuse. I loved the writing style, which was descriptive without being overly flowery. I listened to most of this on audiobook, and the narrator did an excellent job. I wish the F/F relationship had been drawn out more and not so insta-lovey. However, I definitely recommend!
